Millie Mk2
History
Millie was the first in our range of low cost locomotives, launched in 1999. The first iteration of Millie had an external burner but she has now been redesigned with our reliable internal FG burner; bringing her in line with the rest of our gas fired locos. She is offered ready to run in a choice of colours and in either 32mm or 45mm gauge. The basic model is as pictured above with open cab, but a full cab is available at additional cost. Personalise it further to your own requirements with the aditional parts and accessories available.
Technical specifications for 'Millie'.
- 0-4-0 inside framed chassis with double acting slide valve cylinders operated by slip eccentric valve gear.
- Internal gas firing using the ROUNDHOUSE 'FG' gas system.
- Controls fitted as standard are:- steam regulator, safety valve, displacement lubricator and gas regulator.
- Dimensions (loading gauge) are:- length 295mm over buffers, width 110mm, height 145mm, weight 2.5Kg.
- 32mm or 45mm gauge (non adjustable) please state when ordering.
- A gas filling adaptor is required.
- Minimum radius 2'.
